I am Leonardo and i am a monk that lives in an abbey near the King’s castle. I think that the king is a great man and i think that the king is completely innocent. The pope said that the King signed the magna carta against his will because the nobles forced him. I expect to see many things at the trial. I expect to see many props and people in costumes. I expect to see to see a podium and many people explaining why the king should be guilty of not. I plan on making a fake bible for my prop because thats what monks use to worship and praise god.

He is planning another campaign so that we will be able to regain the possession of the land of France, he has given us different options of what we chose to work for, he supports the churches and provides us with everything we need. At the mock trial I will be expecting to see many people standing up whether or not the king should be guilty or innocent, many people giving there own opinion, and lots of people proving that he is innocent. The King did mistakes in his life that led toward a war but everybody does mistakes. King John did sign the Magna Carta and he did start equal rights by make fair courts for every people. My prop will be a pitch fork , it represent how they lived and worked the farm in their lives.

I am all the way for King John and I am never going to change my opinion. No matter what my family says. He is not guilty at all, the guards must of just misunderstood the King with whatever he was charged with. I know that there is a lot of people that are against the king and they are going to try everything they can to charge the King, but I honestly believe that they will understand the King and not charge him with anything. I am planning on bringing the plans to the new castle I am building with me to trial because I want to prove to everybody against the King that he is guilty because he is fair to all nobles/barons by giving us land and letting us build and make money off of it. My strongest speaking point would be "King John focuses on the day to day life of England, as I focus on my day to day life of being a merchant/ fief. I plan to see many debates and opinion changes through this trial. For my prop or costume I will be bringing in a basket full of fake food to show that I am a merchant, and I will be dressing as a peasant. In the end King John will win and all will end in peace!

I think it is good for him to apologize (And no, it is not too late to apologize.) and make up for his mistakes. everyone deserves a second chance. I expect to see a lot of debate and a lot of serious decisions being made. Hopefully, King John will not be found guilty. For my costume, I will wear what a knight might have worn in the Crusades. A Crusaders red cross! (Really a bed sheet made into a shirt with a drawn red cross on it.)

He tried very hard to gain more land and wealth in wars. During the trial I expect to see both sides fighting for why King John is guilty or innocent. I'm hoping A jury will announce that King John is innocent in the end. I’m planning to use a sword as my prop to represent a weapon we use as protection in war.

King John signed the Magna Carta against his will, because if he did not he wouldn't have any people to protect him. He delivered the power to the Nobles and he was left in the dirt. This trail should definitely include reasonable arguments between both sides of the opinion. Using as a prop, I will bring in a grey bathrobe, a cross, a skin colored cloth hat, and a Bible, to represent how I support the church and the Pope. I believe that the king will be found Innocent by the jury at the trial’s end.

In this trial I expect to see some strong points on why he is guilt and also some strong points as to why he is innocent, but I know in the end King John will be proven innocent. For my prop I am going to have a tiara to show that I am a noble which is the level under a king.
